1984
Cooper Products, Inc. is founded by James Cooper in Laconia, NH. The company begins producing flat bearing seals for the New England bearing manufacturers.
1990
Cooper relocates to its current Fair Street location and begins high-volume flat seal production for 608 and 6000 size bearings.
1995
Cooper is sold to Thomas Gerber.
Internal material development begins with newly established lab.
1998
Cooper achieves QS 9000 certification and expands its manufacturing capabilities to include water pump bearing seals, agricultural bearing seals & automotive wheel bearing seals.
1999
Additional molding and stamping equipment is installed.
2000
Production capabilities for dedicated high-volume precision molded seals increase.
2005
Cooper Products achieves ISO 9001:2000 certification and begins design & build of test strands to perform seal validation testing to meet OEM specifications.
2006-07
Hub seal-validation capabilities for torque, mud slurry, and hot/cold cycle tests expand.
2007-08
Additional molding equipment is installed.
2009
New functional test strands are fabricated and installed.
2011
Cooper Products achieves ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification.
2011
Anhui Zhongding Co. LTD acquires Cooper Products, providing new opportunities for expansion and upgrades.
2012
Cooper Products’ facility more than doubles in size after a major renovation project, growing from 16,000 square feet to 33,000 square feet.
State-of-the-art Technology Center is completed.
2013
Cooper partners with its sister company, Precix ®, located in New Bedford, MA, on key mixing and vision validation systems.
